Now it has finally come, after a long wait, we had to sell a variety of rumors and leaked photos, the Samsung S3 Galaxy was today finally officially unveiled in London. Expectations were extremely high, but Samsung has actually managed to meet them.

There were some doubts in advance, come close if the successor to the highly successful Galaxy S2 to the high expectations may have been set up in advance. After the presentation in London, one can already say with certainty that the Samsung did not fail in this difficult task. Some features were previously known, others did actually surprise.

The case design and the ergonomics are greatly influenced by examples from nature – the front of the 8.6 millimeter thick device is similar to the Galaxy but strong nexus, however, the reverse is much more rounded and covered with a protective surface. The Super AMOLED display is HD-suspected as 4.8 inches tall, has a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.

Suggested as an in-house Exynos Quad Core processor will be used, which is powered by a replaceable 2150 mAh battery with great energy. The SGS3 is available in three memory types: 16, 32 and 64 GB. It will also appear in blue and white, a black version does not seem to be on the market.

The SGS3 has a 1.9 megapixel front and an 8 megapixel rear camera. This also has a variety of useful features like face detection, burst mode, in which 20 images are taken in rapid succession, and a Best Shot function, which chooses the best photo.

In addition to Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi, GPS improved the SGS3 will also be equipped with NFC about it and also have the so-called S-Beam technology, the NFC and Wi-Fi Direct combines an extremely fast data transmission technology. In Europe, the SGS3 with HSPA + 29 May for € 599 on the market. In the United States should follow in the summer, a LTE version – whether it also has the Exynos processor or get a different chipset as the Snapdragon S4 is not yet known.

Samsung TouchWiz user interface has improved greatly and with S Voice voice control integrated, highly reminiscent of Apple’s Siri. Direct notifies a call in lifting the smartphones by vibrating missed call – if you write a text message and holds the phone to your ear, it automatically selects the number of the message recipient. Overall, Samsung has tried to use the Galaxy S3 to make them more intuitive to a more natural use of the phone allow.
