They have released some of the features that will incorporate the Galaxy S3 and all I can say is Woow!: Full HD screen of 4.8 inch quad-core processor at 1.5 GHz and ICS.

The famous BGR blog reports having received some exclusive details about the Samsung Galaxy S3, and apparently, we are witnessing the best Android smartphone we’ve ever seen.

The Samsung Galaxy S3 is without doubt the most anticipated phone for everyone. The great success of Galaxy S and later, the Galaxy S2, have generated huge expectations for this smartphone and apparently Samsung does not disappoint us.

BGR reports that it has had exclusive access to details about the Galaxy S3, which include:

Samsung quad-core processor at 1.5GHz Exynos
Full HD screen with 4.8-inch 16:9 aspect ratio
8-megapixel rear camera
Camera 2-megapixel front
LTE 4G connectivity
Ceramic housing
Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich

According to reports, the new flagship of Samsung will be launched simultaneously around the world this year, although no details were given about the date.

The vast majority of these specifications sound perfectly reasonable and even expected (a Galaxy S3 without LTE or ICS would be unacceptable), although some raised some suspicions, or at least some doubt.

A full HD (1080p) of 4.8 inches would result in about 459 pixels per inch. For reference, the human eye is generally incapable of seeing beyond about 300 dpi. In addition, a 1080p display requires more processing power and cause lower frame rates compared to the same processor behind a screen of lesser resolution. A 1080p display in a 4.8-inch device could actually be worse, since more energy would require pear almost no gain in quality. Hard to believe that Samsung has not taken this into account.

However, I am optimistic that Samsung will surprise us again. You’ve done it many times, why could not do it again?

To get an official confirmation will have to wait a little longer, but certainly we will be in the presence of a true monster, a smartphone that will mark a before and after the era of smartphones.
