The Galaxy S3 from Samsung has an AMOLED display with HD resolution. But many analysts were on the choice of the underlying display technology a little disappointed. In practice, the choice may well provide little drawbacks, but technically would already have been possible.

The quality of smartphone screens depends not only on the displayable resolution, size, and the resulting pixel density out of it, the technology of the display has an impact on the image content.
